MITP is an “e-park” (a virtual park): residents operate without a physical perimeter, from any location in the Republic of Moldova.

MITP is an “e-park” (a virtual park): residents operate without a physical perimeter, from any location in the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, the management and team can work remotely, including from Romania or other countries, using digital processes for registration, reporting, and payment of the single tax.
Why look at Moldova now
Moldova has created a dedicated framework for IT and digital companies through MITP, with a single 7% tax and simplified administration. The framework has been extended by law until 2035, offering long-term visibility. The tax incentive available to MITP residents is presented as unique globally, and as offering one of the most competitive effective tax levels in Central and Eastern Europe.
The tax regime: one single tax
MITP residents pay a single 7% tax applied to turnover (sales revenues), which replaces: corporate income and personal income tax, mandatory social and medical contributions, local taxes, real estate tax, and the road tax for vehicles registered in Moldova.
Who can become a resident
Any company registered in the Republic of Moldova (including with foreign capital).
70% or more of sales revenue must be generated from eligible activities provided by the law.
Typical entry steps
- Incorporating an LLC (SRL) in the Republic of Moldova.
- Opening a bank account in Moldova.
- Signing the residence agreement with the MITP Administration and setting up the accounting workflows.
- Tax onboarding (reporting and single-payment procedures).
